LUKE VINCENT FRANCESCO MEYVECI

Luke was our miracle. He came into this world as a beautiful surprise to our family. Since the day he was born, he brought such joy to our lives, and grew into the sweetest, most caring and lovable little boy. With his infectious smile, beautifully long lashes, and joyful personality, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Luke was diagnosed with a heart condition at 9 months old called sub-aortic membrane stenosis, and was closely monitored yearly. His doctors agreed that surgery was needed to remove the membrane, and on October 12, 2022, he went in for a routine surgery, and was expected to be home in 2 days. Unfortunately, Luke ran into some complications during surgery, and his heart was not strong enough to overcome these obstacles. On October 14, two days shy of his 3rd birthday, Luke passed away peacefully in our arms.

No parent can prepare for the loss of a child, and no parent ever recovers from this immense tragedy. Luke's Purpose was created to not only honor his legacy, but to help families who have to endure this insufferable loss. Luke came into this world and gave us a purpose. Now, we will live through him, and live for him, and continue to share the light he brought to all of us.
